In this very special screening, composer and pianist, Andrew Harrison-King, accompanied the silent film, playing live in the cinema his original score written expressly for "The Lodger".

Andrew began learning piano at the age of 11 before studying music at A level and graduating from the University of Surrey with a Master of Music degree in 2012. As part of his course he studied Screen Music and composition, and wrote the music for two short films. Andrew is a member of a Wiltshire-based skiffle group and the Musical Director for Pepperbox Players in his home village of Whiteparish.
Hitchcock's silent film "The Lodger stars Marie Ault, Arthur Chesney, June Tripp, Malcolm Keen, and Ivor Novello. Based on the novel The Lodger by Marie Belloc Lowndes and the play "Who Is He?" co-written by Belloc Lowndes, the film is about the hunt for a "Jack the Ripper"-like serial killer in London.
