DCS F-18 Quick Startup guide prioritizes the ability to take off and engage AIR targets as quickly as possible.
One can think of it as a 'fighter scramble' procedure.
System checks are skipped, ground alignment is skipped and standard wait periods are reduced, among other adjustments.

The aircraft will be able to perform Air to Air combat with full performance.
Ground alignment is not considered essential for Air-to-Air combat.
It is assumed "IFA" is in-flight alignment, similar to what the A-10C has. This may be incorrect and/or it may not be modeled yet.
